Dr.
Barker received her veterinary
degree from the University of
Georgia College of Veterinary
Medicine.
Her post-graduate education continued at the College of Veterinary Medicine with an internship and residency in internal medicine. She received her board certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2003. Dr. Barker worked at a small animal specialty practice for 4 years before joining Dr. Jacobs and opening Barker Veterinary Consulting. |

Gilbert Jacobs, DVM,

Dr Jacobs
received his veterinary degree
from The Ohio State
University College of
Veterinary Medicine.
He completed his post-graduate studies at Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Following a rigorous testing process, Dr. Jacobs became board certified in Cardiology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM), the governing institution for veterinary medical specialists in the United States. He spent 16 years as a Professor of Medicine at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and served as a visiting Professor in Germany and Israel. Dr. Jacobs will conduct Heart Clinics at the following Shows: Peach Blossum Cluster, Perry GA - 4/13 and 4/14 Cavalier Show, Atlanta GA - 5/19 Asheville Show, Fletcher NC - 6/9 Show, Marietta GA - 10/2012 |
